It took me years to find the perfect little black dress in my price range. When I finally found it, I was enraptured. Excitedly, I brought it home and tried it on once again to make sure that it looked the same in my mirror that it did in the store’s dressing room. Then I set to searching the web to find out how many different outfits I could make with this essential fashion staple. After hours of surfing the Net, I was sorely disappointed. Every article I found suggested things like “Pair your LBD with bright colored pumps,” and “Wear it with your hair up!” All of the obvious suggestions left me wondering, where was the creativity?
So, I challenged myself to find as many cute and “wearable” outfits as I could using my new Little Black Dress. I plan on this being a “living” article. I will update it when I come up with new ideas. Keep in mind that most, if not all of these outfits are versatile. You can probably recreate many of them using clothes that you already own! Get creative. Imagination is the fun of fashion and style!
1. The Basic LBD
This is the most obvious and basic way to wear your little black dress. I post this more as a reference than anything else. Thin black belt and open-toe pumps.

2. Pop of Color
I paired a Coral Blazer with some Pink Espadrilles for a chic look.

3. Rocker Chic
A Slate Motorcycle Jacket, Metallic Belt, and Black Lace-Up Boots give your LBD a “tough-girl” edge.
